Uli's Music 2026
Words are turning
[Verse]
It began with light, it began with fire,
A world of thought, a dream inspired.
Justice stood where reason grew, But now the winds have changed their tune.
[Verse]
Whispers turned to roaring cries,
Truth got lost in hollow lies.
Once a shadow, small and still, Now a flood against the will.
[Chorus]
Words are turning in the wind,
Truth is fading, growing thin.
Still I stand and search the way,
For minds that won’t be led astray.
[Verse]
Silence rose, became a wall,
Doubt was cast, began to fall.
Yet deep inside the fire stays, It does not break, it will not fade.
[Bridge]
An island strong, a shield, a home,
Against the tide, against the storm.
We hold our ground, we keep the flame,
And through the dark, we call a name.
[Chorus]
Words are turning in the wind,
Truth is fading, growing thin.
Not for yesterday we fight, But for reason, for the light.
[Solo]
[Outro]
Not nostalgia, not the past,
Just the wisdom built to last.
Thought and courage, bright and free, Let us stand, let us believe.
The Morning
[Verse ]
The morning lies softly across my face,
I open my eyes, but I'm still in yesterday's place.
The thoughts from the night are still lingering near, Like shadows in silence, like whispers I hear.
I wonder again what yesterday meant,
Why some things can break you, why some never mend.
But outside my window, a new day begins,
Though I don't yet know how to let the light in.
[Pre-Chorus]
Then a golden ray slips through the blinds,
And falls on my face like a gentle reminder:
Maybe not everything has to stay the same,
Maybe tomorrow can carry a different name.
[Chorus]
Cause the sun still shines, though yesterday remains, Though some little echoes still call out my name.
And somewhere there's laughter waiting for me,
A friend, a warm voice saying, “It's good to see you.”
So I step outside and slowly breathe in,
Let a little bit of yesterday loosen its grip.
And with every step, my heart starts to sway,
Maybe life isn't over…
Maybe there's still a way.
[Verse]
We sit together, we talk for a while,
And somehow the grey starts to turn into smiles.
A laugh breaks the silence, so honest and clear,
And for just one moment, I don't feel the fear.
The worries don't vanish, they don't disappear,
But somehow they're lighter when someone is near.
I don't need to know where tomorrow will lead,
For now, it's enough that you're sitting with me.
[Pre-Chorus]
And the shadows of yesterday slowly grow small,
As if this new morning can soften it all.
I look to the sky and suddenly see,
There's still a tomorrow waiting for me.
[Chorus]
Cause the sun still shines, though yesterday remains,
Though some little echoes still call out my name.
And somewhere there's laughter waiting for me,
A friend, a warm voice saying, “It's good to see you.”
So I step outside and slowly breathe in,
Let a little bit of yesterday loosen its grip.
And with every step, my heart starts to sway,
Maybe life isn't over… Maybe there's still a way.
[Bridge]
Maybe we're stronger than we ever believe,
Maybe a heart can still heal when it's too tired to breathe.
Maybe hope isn't something that suddenly grows,
Maybe it's simply a hand that says, “You're not alone.”
And when all those old thoughts come back in the night,
I'll remember the warmth, I'll remember the light.
I don't have the answers, and that's okay,
I only need enough courage to make it through today.
[Final Chorus – soft and emotional]
Cause the sun still shines, and I'm seeing it now,
I'm slowly remembering how to breathe somehow.
And somewhere there's laughter waiting for me,
A friend, a warm voice saying, “It's good to see you.”
So I step outside and slowly breathe in,
I don't need to understand everything.
Yesterday can stay, but I can still move on,
Cause somewhere inside me, a new morning has begun.
[Outro]
A new morning has begun… And maybe… that's enough for today.
Don't get lost
[Verse 1]
I watch the clock, I see it turning,
I watch the hands move on.
I see the good that we have guarded,
and wonder how long it's strong.
I see a storm that's slowly rising,
I feel it drawing near.
And all the things we hold so dearly
could disappear.
[Chorus]
I hear the stories of our time,
I hear them every day.
They tell us who the enemy is, and who we have to blame.
We raise the walls, we raise the weapons,
we feed the fear inside. We're trying to save the things we love,
while leaving truth behind.
[Verse 2]
I won't bury my head in the sand,
just because the road gets hard.
I won't accept what feels so wrong just because they play that card.
There's a battle in my own mind,
between the fear and truth.
Do I follow where the river flows, or find my own way through?
[Chorus]
I hear the stories of our time,
I hear them every day.
They tell us who the enemy is, and who we have to blame.
We raise the walls, we raise the weapons,
we feed the fear inside.
We're trying to save the things we love,
while leaving truth behind.
[Bridge – Soft Vocal]
Maybe there's a quiet way out,
a road we haven't tried.
While everybody shouts their answers,
I take a step aside.
And when they look at me and wonder
why I don't join the fight,
I simply ask a little question:
Is there another way tonight?
[Music drops to a single, quiet guitar note]
[Verse 3]
I take my old guitar down from the wall,
lay it gently on my knee.
I let those six old strings start talking,
and they tell me what I need.
They bring me comfort in these troubled days,
they open up my eyes.
They show me there is still some beauty
beneath these troubled skies.
This isn't running from reality,
or hiding from the fight.
It's only changing where I look,
and seeing things in different light.
[Final Chorus]
I hear the stories of our time,
I hear them every day.
But I won't let somebody else decide what I should say.
We raise the walls, we raise the weapons,
we feed the fear inside.
We're trying to save the things we love,
while leaving truth behind.
[Outro – Guitar Fades]
Don't get lost in the stories they're telling you each day.
Don't let somebody else's words take your own thoughts away.
[Whisper]
Don't get lost... Don't be fooled...
Don't let them choose what you should see.
[Guitar fades slowly]
Don't get lost in the narrative...
